Wildlife Protection

Protecting Nature’s Treasures
Horn Nature works to keep Somalia’s animals safe and thriving. We focus on endangered species, teaching communities why every animal is important for the balance of nature. Through local wildlife programs, we monitor habitats, prevent harm, and encourage people to live alongside animals in harmony. Our volunteers and partners help raise awareness about the importance of protecting forests, rivers, and grasslands. Every action we take helps ensure that wildlife can survive, grow, and inspire future generations.
Community-Based Conservation
We also empower local communities to become guardians of their own wildlife. Horn Nature provides training, tools, and support so villagers can protect animals while benefiting from nature responsibly. By involving people directly in conservation, we create pride, responsibility, and long-term care for the environment. Each community-led effort strengthens the connection between humans and wildlife, ensuring that Somalia’s rich biodiversity is preserved. Together, we are building a future where animals and people thrive together in a healthy, balanced ecosystem.
